The issue occurs when the program is running in the background and stops working for some reason. This is a common problem with different programs that run in the background on the computer.

Sometimes, the GeForce Experience could be partially open, which prevents it from completely opening or closing. In this case, restarting the program will resolve the issue.

  4. Once you find the programs, close them by pressing the ‘Delete‘ button on your keyboard or by right clicking and selecting ‘End Task‘ within the drop-down.
  5. After all the processes have been closed, reopen GeForce Experience to check if it works.

If your GeForce Experience not working, then follow these instructions carefully. The program should work, but if it doesn’t, you can try the next method on our list.

Check Antivirus Or Create Firewall Exception

Antivirus-Software

An antivirus plays an important part in protecting your system from threats from harmful files but it can also cause some performance issues in some applications and programs.

In some instances, your antivirus may be preventing GeForce Experience from working on your computer. You can resolve this problem by temporarily disabling your antivirus software and opening GeForce Experience to check and see if it is your antivirus is the root cause.

If so, consider creating a firewall exception for GeForce Experience.

Reinstall GPU Drivers

If the other two methods of closing and restarting GeForce Experience and disabling your antivirus do not yield the result you want then the issue might be with the internal drive that is causing the failure.

Turn On Experimental Features

Experimental features are those that have yet to be thoroughly tried, and NVIDIA will most likely integrate them into future GeForce Experience releases. Some users claim that activating these features helped them solve the issue quickly, so ensure that you adhere to the steps below!

  1. First and foremost, you must find the GeForce Experience executable. It’s possible it’s on your desktop. If it isn’t, make an attempt to see it in the Start option. In any case, open it and browse the Preferences tab in the top menu bar.
  2. Then, under Preferences, head to the General section and select the box beside the Enable experimental features selection. Refresh the GeForce Experience app to verify if it can now find your games!

Clear the App’s Cache

GeForce Experience cache files are kept in the AppData subdirectory. Delete its folder to clear its cache, then refresh the application without losing any info. On the positive side, it may make it easier for the client to find the games you’ve installed. To try out this technique, make sure to follow the steps below!

  1. To begin, close any instances of GeForce Experience that are currently running on your machine. Specific NVIDIA-related programs must also be terminated. Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc key sequence to open Task Manager. You can also press Ctrl + Alt + Del and then left-click on the Task Manager from the blue screen that appears.
  2. To expand Task Manager, click the More details option and search for the following processes within Background processes: NVIDIA GeForce Experience, NVIDIA Container (32-bit), NVIDIA Container, and NVIDIA Web Helper Service. Hit the End task option in the lower right corner after left-clicking on each one.
  3. Double-click the This PC symbol on your desktop to launch it. Conversely, open any folder on the computer or select the Libraries icon in the taskbar’s Quick Access menu. Click This PC from the right-side navigation option.
  4. Access your Local Disk, then navigate to the People folder. Double-click the folder titled after the present user. Open the AppData subdirectory within. If you can’t see it, go to the menu located at the top of the window and select View, then check the option next to Hidden items.
  5. Navigate to Local >> NVIDIA Corporation >> NVIDIA GeForce Experience in the AppData subdirectory. Right-click the CefCache subdirectory inside and select Delete from the context menu that appears. Relaunch GeForce Experience and see if it can detect your installed titles!

Turn off the chrome extension that restricts cookies.

Deactivating the privacy chrome extension will also assist you if you are attempting to log in to the client with a Google account. The privacy protection add-on blocks cookies on Google Chrome or your usual browser, which may prevent data transactions between the Nvidia client and the servers. So, consider uninstalling or disabling that add-on.

Cookies can be used to determine whether or not a person is logged in using which username. They simplify login credentials so that users do not have to enter login information repeatedly. As a result, if a privacy security tool disables browser cookies, this could cause issues during the login process.

As a result, disabling the privacy add-on in your default browser will not solve the Nvidia GeForce experience login not functioning problem.
