Renders of the Global Version of the MotoS30 Pro Leaked

Renders of the Global Version of the MotoS30 Pro Leaked

The company recently unveiled the Moto S30 Pro alongside the Moto Razr 2022 and the Moto X30 Pro at the Motorola event. However, Motorola gave no information regarding whether or not the phone would launch globally. A new leak gives hope that the handset may be available internationally with a different name.

This leak surfaced online and showed renders of a device that looks similar to the Moto S30 Pro. The leaker was Evan Blass, who is considered a reliable source. The phone is said to be the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion. On closer look, it looks identical to the Moto S30 Pro in every possible way.

The Android Police reports that these renders may be the global version of the Chinese variant, Moto S30 Pro. However, there are no indications as to when Motorola will introduce the phone to international markets. Supposedly, the phone was under development with the codename Tundra, according to the leaker, Blass.

It is highly likely that the phone will not have any major changes when it launches globally. Therefore, it will most likely have S30 Pro’s specs, including being powered by a Snapdragon 888+ chipset and having a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED screen. The screen may also have a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR10+ support, just like the S30 Pro.

The price of this global phone has not yet been released. At home ground, in China, the device starts at $326, making it a mid-range phone. Therefore, it is expected that it will retail at around the same price or slightly higher in the global market.

Since it has almost been confirmed that the Moto S30 Pro will be making a global debut, there is no news confirming whether or not Motorolla will be aiming to launch their other newest phone, the Motorola Razr 2022, into the international market.

If they do decide to do so, Motorola will be able to make its mark on the foldable phone market and compete amongst others to be the best foldable phone.
