OnePlus Reveals the Nord N30 5G for the US

Just as June started, Oneplus revealed that it would release another device named the Nord N30 5G specifically for the North American market. The company claims the phone will be larger than life as it has a large 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to OnePlus, the phone should feel smooth in your hand as it has clean and flat ridges, which are extremely popular in phones. Additionally, the company has put in a lot of work to minimize the camera bump of the N30 5G.

Along with an impressive front, the phone also has an excellent array of cameras on the rear end. With the Nord N30 5G, users will have access to a triple camera setup with a 108 MP primary camera with 3x lossless zoom. According to OnePlis, the cameras on the back utilizing a 9-in-1 pixel binning tech. This technology will be able to absorb more light for a brighter and more colorful image. Using this, potential new customers will be able to capture 720p, 120fps slow-motion videos, and more.

The Nord N30 5G doesn’t lack in the speakers department either. The phone will come equipped with Dual Stereo speakers with a 200% Ultra Volume Mode. This should help reduce any sound distortion and buzzing that some speaker systems have.

On the inside, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 mobile platform. Although it is not the newest mid-range chipset, it is efficient as it is built on a 6nm process and has been used on various cheap Android phones, proving itself as a decent chipset. To keep the lights on, OnePlus has used a 5000mAh battery that supports 50W SUPERVOOC fast charging capabilities. According to OnePlus, users will be able to charge their phone from zero to full charge within thirty minutes. The battery also uses OnePlus’ Battery Health Engine technology, which helps increase the battery’s longevity and prevent overcharging.

Going against the norm, users will be able to expand the N30 5 G’s storage. The phone will reportedly be able to handle up to 1TB of expandable storage. The device out of the box will contain 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Pre-orders for the phone have opened, and it starts at just $299 and is available in only one color, Chromatic Grey.
