OnePlus Nord 3 Familiar Design and Impressive Specs

OnePlus Nord 3: Alleged Images Reveal a Familiar Design and Impressive Specs

OnePlus launched their budget-oriented Nord CE 3 Lite 5G in April of 2023 with a design that looks very similar to the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was launched in China earlier this year. The company is now looking to launch another phone with a similar design. This phone is being dubbed the OnePlus Nord 3. Alleged images of the device have shown up online that almost confirm the name and design.

Real-life images of the alleged OnePlus Nord 3 were shared online by a Twitter user called MlgmXyySsd, which reveals a familiar design to the OnePlus Ace 2V. The photos show off a traditional punch-hole display on the front of the device, with the back having two large camera housings. One of these appears to carry a primary camera sensor, while the other is expected to house additional sensors.

The tipster also shared the expected specifications of the Nord 3, which suggest that the phone is likely targeted at the European and Indian markets. On the inside, the device could be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and a 5000mAh battery. The phone also has the company’s 80W SuperVOOC charging support, which helps reduce the charging time. On the front of the device, the OnePlus Ace 2V will have a sizable AMOLED display measuring 6.74 inches with a 2772×1240 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will also ship with an Android 13-based ColorOS 13.

These specs are reminiscent of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was launched exclusively in China. Other expected specifications of the OnePlus Nord 3 include a 64 MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie shooter on the front is expected to be a 16MP sensor. The phone could have other nifty features, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and up to 16GB of RAM with 512GB of onboard storage.

If these specs turn out to be true, the OnePlus Nord 3 could be a decent mid range phone for 2023 challenging the Pixel 7a, which has been selling well.
