OnePlus Plans to launch the Ace 2V in China using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000

OnePlus has been extremely busy this year, releasing phone after phone. They started off the year strong with a global release of their flagship phone, the OnePlus 11. Then, they released the OnePlus 11R in India, which was labeled OnePlus Ace 2 in the Chinese market. Now, it seems like the company is preparing to launch a new phone called the OnePlus Ace 2V.

Louis Li, the newly appointed President of OnePlus China, shared details for this phone through his Weibo account. He revealed that the phone’s launch is on 7th March and will be released to the Chinese market. He also shared some teasers of the new phone and what to expect from it. The teaser images show a familiar OnePlus phone design, which looks very similar to the Nord series. There are squared-off edges, a familiar-looking camera set-up, an alert slider, and a centered punch-hole display.

Regarding the specs, the images reveal that the phone will have a 6.74-inch display that can go up to 1450 nits of brightness. It will also have a high refresh rate of 120 Hz and HDR10+ support. The phone will also have thinner bezels and an in-screen fingerprint sensor, allowing it to look modern. Underneath the screen, the phone will be powered by a Dimensity 9000 chipset with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Louis Li has also confirmed that the Ace 2V will have a 5000mAh battery with a OnePlus 80W charging speed. Additionally, the phone is expected to have an NFC, which measures 8.15mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams. According to on-paper specs, the phone looks extremely promising and has the potential to be one of the best mid-range Android phones released this year. It is also possible that OnePlus may decide to release the handset globally and dub it to be the OnePlus Nord in regions outside China.
