OnePlus Reveals Launch Date for Their OnePlus 11

After several leaks, the launch date for the OnePlus 11 has finally been released. Although other companies are aiming to release their latest flagships for 2023 early in the new year, One Plus has only now started to build hype surrounding the OnePlus 11. This particular phone was announced with the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Still, no official release date has been mentioned.

Customers don’t have to wait any longer because, according to OnePlus’s calendar, the new phone will debut in New Delhi, India. It will be available to purchase on February 7, 2023. Although details about the event are under wraps, the company has released a teaser for the phone’s design, which shows off a circular rear camera. This teaser confirms previous leaks that suggested that the company may veer off traditional camera housing styles and opt for a circular design.

In the teaser, the camera housing is obscured by a reflection of the clouds. It also mentions the launch name, OnePlus Cloud 11 Launch Event. According to the company, the cloud theme represents improved performance and technology that can be found on the phone. However, they have yet to provide any further information.

Like other 2023 flagships, the OnePlus 11 is expected to use Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will also reportedly have 16GB of Ram and USF 4.0. In terms of the design, the phone will sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Rumors also suggest that OnePlus will be bringing back its alert slider, which was absent from the recent OnePlus 10T.

Although the camera module in the launch invite is obscured, you can make out a triple camera setup with an LED flash unit. Of these three cameras, the phone is expected to have a 50 MP primary sensor, a 48 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32 MP telephoto lens. Additionally, the phone appears to have a matte finish, disproving various leaks that suggested the phone would have a premium ceramic chassis.

The OnePlus 11 will also likely have a 5000mAh battery and 100W charging. However, all the details are murky, and customers will have to wait till it’s closer to launch time to know the exact details of the phone.
