Samsung’s A-series has been the talk of the town, with its new addition just around the corner. However, before the company could officially release teasers and information, all that you need to know about the A24 has already leaked online. This leak comes from the tech website Gadgety, which received details regarding the promotional material for Samsung’s upcoming phone.
Through this material, consumers were able to get a good look at what the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G will bring to the table. The information reveals that the budget Galaxy phone will likely feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This screen will have a U-shaped selfie camera instead of a standard punch-hole one, making it appear similar to the Galaxy A23.
The leaked renders also show off the back of the Galaxy A24, which reveals a clean slate without any camera island or bump as is seen in other phones from the company. This makes the phone appear like the recently released Galaxy A54 and A34. The back will reportedly feature a triple camera array, including a 50MP primary shooter, a 5MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
On the inside, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 mobile platform, meaning consumers won’t be able to use 5G on this device. Additionally, users will get 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded using a 1TB microSD card. The A24 will also likely use a 5000mAh battery, as was seen on the A23 in 2022. It also seems like Samsing will retain the charging capabilities of the phone to 25W.
Interestingly, the phone appears to have a 3.5mm headphone jack, which will support Dolby Atmos audio through its speakers. The screen also has a fingerprint scanner for added security. The phone will reportedly launch in four colors: lemon green, burgundy, black, and silver.
Although most of the specs have been revealed, this phone has no set launch date. All consumers know as of now is that the Galaxy A24 will be released in the near future.
