The OnePlus Cloud Event: Phones, Buds, Keyboards, and More

Of the many devices revealed at the event, the major one was the OnePlus 11. This phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and has a large and vibrant QHD+ AMOLED panel. This screen also has a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision. The company has included a large 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging to power the phone. The cameras have also been upgraded and now come with third-gen Hasselblad tuning that ensures that every photo is outstanding.

The software of this phone has also been changed for better performance. Out of the box, the device is set to run OxygenOS13, which is based on Android 13. The software is finally stable, and there are no major bugs this time. This is a step up from previous launches where there were software issues right out of the box.

Alongside the OnePlus, the OnePlus R was also released, but it has not gotten much attention as it is a part of OnePlus’s regional play and will only be released in India as it is the company’s largest global market. The OnePlus R has all the same design features as the OnePlus 11, but it does not have the Hasselblad tuning. Regarding its internals, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of the OnePlus 11 has been replaced by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The camera on the back of this phone includes a 50 MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera.

After seeing the interest in tablets skyrocket, OnePlus has made its own tablet with the OnePlus Pad. This is a high-end tablet powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 and has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the back, there is a 13MP camera that can take 4K video. This camera is located in the middle and allows you to take centered photos. There is also an 8MP shooter at the front and a 9500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

OnePlus are also looking to release the second-gen of their Buds 2 Pro. These earbuds are tuned by Dynaudio and have a bass-forward sound signature, much like the first-gen Buds Pro. They also have a head-tracking feature that improves their spatial audio sound.
