Elmedia Player Pro Review

The recently introduced Elmedia Player PRO promises the best media player experience through a combination of superior VLC features on a user-friendly interface that is similar to Quicktime with a clean and well-organized design that pleases the eye.

Elmedia is different because it is more than just software that plays media, it offers a lot more which I’m going to talk about in this review. I’ll be taking a closer look at what makes Elmedia Player so great and why it’s worth the purchase and why you should Choose Elmedia for your MacBook.

The Power To Play Anything

One of the standout features of this media player is that it is incredibly versatile in the media file formats it can play. Nearly all commonly used video formats are supported including AVI, MP4, FLV, WMV, M4V, MP3, etc, so you can download and play any file. Book

Elmedia has the ability to analyze every web page and provide you a breakdown of the various file formats found on the site including HTML, video, audio, GIF, even Flash, JavaScript, and CSS files. The files are presented in a convenient list with the download option for each individual file located at the bottom of the pane. This feature is ideal for several implications.

Customizable Playback Options

Customizable Playback Options

With Elmedia you get multiple ways of achieving your perfect playback thanks to plenty of options. You can adjust more than the aspect ratio and the playback speed of video files, you can also choose the orientation of the window, toggle mirror image on and off and rotate the playback to ensure that the videos are in the correct orientation.

Smart Video Tuning Options

You also get a Smart Video Tuner in Elmedia that allows you to tune the Brightness, Hue, Saturation, and Gamma of a video to get the best viewing experience. Furthermore, with the Equalizer, you can adjust the channels and volume on audio tracks. You also have the option to turn these features off for a more simplified user experience.

Repair Video And Re-Syncing

Another unique feature of the Elmedia media player is that it enables you to fix slightly broken media files with the Repair Video option. By using this feature you can attempt to fix corrupted files. You also have the options to re-sync audio and subtitles, if they don’t match the video by rearranging them backward or forward or backward in one-tenth of a second interval.

Although you can find the re-syncing feature on the VLC app for iOS, not for Mac.

Airplay Compatibility

Thankfully Elmedia has AirPlay compatibility minus the local file transfer feature which is a shame since it is a handy feature offered by VLC for iOS and Mac.

Capture A Series Of Screenshots

With Elmedia you can also enjoy fun features like taking a screenshot or a series of multiple screenshots at intervals. You can set the duration can be from 0.1 seconds to 10 seconds and save your screenshots in a range of photo file types. This feature is not only fun to use, but it also comes in handy if you want to make GIFs easily and quickly without pausing the video.
