OPPO Find X Leak – A Small Camera Bump and More

With the start of 2023, new phones are being announced. The Galaxy S23 release is just around the corner, and the OnePlus 11 is also slated to release very soon. Among these new devices, the OPPO Find X6 is also gaining traction. The company recently announced its new range of foldable phones, and customers are waiting for them to release a more traditional form of the series. Looks like they won’t have to wait too long.

A new leak reveals what the OPPO Find X6 series, with its three phones, may look like. On the back of the phone, there appears to be a circular camera housing that contains a triple camera setup and the MariSilicon branding. The camera is perhaps the most shocking change as it differs from the previous alleged live images. Previously, the images showed the phone to have a massive square camera housing.

In terms of specs, the device interestingly has a different chipset as compared to the standard Find X6. Last year, it contained the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while the Find X6 Pro is expected to come in two variants this year. These variants will come with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip or the MediaTek Dimensity 9200. The details are murky, and it is unclear which variant will be released where. Suppose previous releases, like the Oppo Find X5 Pro, are to serve as a blueprint. In that case, the MediaTek versions may only get released in China.

For the cameras, this leak corroborates older leaks that state that the Find X6 series will come with three 50MP cameras on the back. There are also rumors suggesting a 1-inch sensor, which may feature on at least one of the models. The Snapdragon variant of the device will allegedly be equipped with the Sony IMX 989. This is the same sensor that is used in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and the Xiaomi 13 series.

There will apparently be three IMX890 sensors on the MediaTek version, while the standards Find X6 will have a mix of sensors. Other specs that have been leaked include a 6.74-inch 2K display at 120Hz for the standard model and slightly larger 6.82-inch panels.
