Typically speakers with big volume and heavy bass are also larger in size and have a bulkier design to accommodate various features. However, thankfully, the Bose Revolve SoundLink is an exception. Bose excels at creating compact audio products that offer exceptional sound and deep bass, and they have done it again with SoundLink Revolve.

Measuring around 8.2 cm wide and 15 cm tall, SoundLink Revolve is really compact. For comparison, it is as small as a small plant pot but looks more attractive in your home. It is also lightweight, weighing just 662 grams, which might not be the lightest on the market, but it’s easy to carry and travel with. After all, Bluetooth speakers are all about portability.

Another issue commonly found in high-end speakers is the susceptibility to scratches and dents easily due to the materials used. However, this isn’t a problem with Bose SoundLink Revolve; its durable exterior can withstand whatever life has to throw at it, all thanks to the latex bumpers that protect it if it gets knocked over or dropped.

The internal tech in this speaker is also durable, plus the IPX4 rated water resistance means the speaker won’t get ruined from accidental showers once in a while. So, you can use this speaker outdoors as well, just don’t leave it in the rain.

The cylindrical shape of this speaker may seem like it wouldn’t work as well when pushed against a wall, but that is not the case due to its unique technology for The most exciting thing about the Bose Soundlink 360-degree sound. Features and Battery

Many of the speaker’s capabilities may be controlled via the Bose Connect app, as with most of Bose’s current products.

You can use it to adjust the volume and manage the devices to which it is connected, as well as to activate “Party Mode” (Bose’s term for being able to connect a second SoundLink speaker and have a type of wireless stereo).

Unfortunately, while you can modify the volume, you can’t change the EQ to fit your tastes, so you’re left with what the audio business feels is the best sound.

Perhaps the one item that needs to be included is a built-in smart assistant. Google and Amazon have released many new audio items using Google Assistant or Alexa. This contains the Bose QC35 on-ear headphones from the second generation. A Google Home competitor created by Bose would be fantastic.

Connectivity

The Bose Soundlink Revolve supports multiple simultaneous Bluetooth connections. With its extra-strong signal strength, connectivity is never an issue! 

With the help of Siri and Google Assistant, you can connect your smartphone with Bose Soundlink Revolve within seconds and control the device from a distance of up to 9 meters. 

The only con of Bose Soundlink Revolve is the lack of an aux-in port. However, it supports Bluetooth headphone connectivity, so you can listen to sound privately by connecting your wireless Bluetooth earphones/headphones. 

You can also use your Boss smartphone app to pair up multiple devices. The app is simple to use; it allows you to pair devices/products by simply dragging and dropping them on your home page.

Bose Soundlink Revolve also has the ability to remember devices, so you don’t have to connect them every time. You can also switch between various sound modes with Revolve. 

Sound Performance

When it comes to Performance, Bose Soundlink Revolve exceeds expectations by miles. It has a highly impressive 12-hour battery life that allows you to enjoy your favorite music longer than other Bluetooth speakers in the same category. 

The Bose Revolve speaker is also perfect for outdoor use because it is water-resistant up to a rating of IPX4 so that it can handle water splashes in your pool parties and raindrops during your camping trips. 

When it comes to the sound performance, be prepared to be impressed again because Bose SoundLink Revolve delivers a fantastic 360-degree sound. Bose Soundlink’s sound quality is truly excellent; the in-depth sound reaches every part of the room with superior quality. 

Even in an outdoor setting, the sound performance remains the same. You can have the same level of depth and clarity even when played in low volume outdoors. If you love your music on high volume, playing it on party mode will get your neighbors complaining. 

The overall performance of Bose Soundlink Revolve is genuinely excellent, no matter if you play on low or high volume indoors or outdoors. Such performance is usually not found in entry-level speakers. 

Value

The Bose SoundLink Revolve is one of the cheapest Bluetooth speakers on the market, costing around $200. And, while you can get something close in terms of sound quality for a somewhat lower price, it won’t be as well built or as functional as the Revolve with the Bose Connect App.

So, if you want that premium build quality, a great aesthetic, and superb sound quality, the Bose SoundLink Revolve may be worth the money. Otherwise, you could acquire a far better-sounding wired speaker at this price.
