With every big tech launch comes a ton of leaks that reveal what to expect from the upcoming device. Although the Pixel 7 series is set to launch in a few days on October 6th, more leaks have surfaced, revealing almost everything about the new devices.
The Google News group revealed this leak on Telegram and shared screenshots of the Pixel 7 spec sheet. They claim that the spec sheet was allegedly posted on a Taiwanese carrier, showing almost everything about Google’s upcoming flagship phone.
The spec sheet reveals that the Pixel 7 will have a 6.3-inch display, smaller than the Pixel 7 display, measured at 6.4 inches. The Pixel 7 Pro remains the same size as the Pixel 6 Pro, at 6.7-inches.
The cameras on this new phone are similar to the ones on its predecessors, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 12 MP ultra-wide. The Pixel 7 Pro will have an additional 48MP telephoto. However, there are some differences between the cameras. For example, there will be a 5x optical zoom and a 30x digital zoom on the telephoto lens, an upgrade from the 4x optical and 20x digital zoom available on the Pixel 6 Pro.
The cameras will also have additional features such as Movie Motion Blur and Macro Focus. There also seems to be an upgraded selfie camera with a larger sensor of almost 11MP. This is a massive upgrade from the Pixel 6 series, which had an 8MP selfie camera.
This new series will reportedly have a face unlock feature, which will utilize the upgraded selfie camera well. Furthermore, the new phones will reportedly be powered by the new Tensor G2 chipset.
The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are expected to come in 8GB RAM /128GB storage and 12 GB RAM/ 256 GB storage, respectively. Furthermore, another leaker, SnoopyTech, also showed a video, which appears to be an ad for the new Google series, which shows off all new features, including Live Translate, Macro Focus, and more.
