Motorola Razr 2022

The Motorola Razr 2022 Lands in Europe

Ever since the release of the Motorola Razr 2022 in China, the rest of the world has been waiting to get their hands on it. Finally, the wait is over as Motorola has debuted their latest foldable phone in markets outside China.

The phone appeared on the company’s website across the UK and Europe, signaling that customers in these countries could purchase the phone. When launched in August exclusively in China, the pricing was competitive. However, upon its release in the UK and Europe, the price has been bumped up slightly.

In the UK, the phone is cheaper at £949 compared to its closest competition, the Galaxy Z Flip 4. For the rest of Europe, it is a bit more expensive as it costs €1199. Although it costs quite a bit, the Motorola Razr 2022 has extremely impressive specs. Compared to the more expensive counterparts, it offers much more at a lower price.

The Motorola Razr 2022 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. In its international debut, it is only available with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This option is one of three available to the Chinese market. The top-tier model available in China features an impressive 12GB of RAM.

Besides the RAM, all of the specs for the UK model are identical to the Chinese version. The phone has a 50 MP primary camera, a large 3500mAh battery, and a high refresh rate, making it an enjoyable phone to use.

Although many expected the Motorola Razr to launch worldwide, North America has been left out of this launch. Furthermore, the company has not indicated on its websites whether Motorola will make its way to the US market soon. Additionally, the company has been known to be working on multiple new phones and may forgo the idea of launching the Razr 2022 in the US.

However, suppose the worldwide reception of the phone is up to the mark. In that case, Motorola may introduce its newer models in the US. A worldwide release would make Razr the best foldable phone alternative to the Samsung Z Flips.
