It has the ability to track one’s sleeping quality, the number of steps taken in a day, and calories burned, along with a fitness-tracking app that offers the features of challenges, workouts, food tracking, and more! What else do you need?
But there’s more; the Fitbit Flex 2 can also be used to keep track of how well you are doing towards your set fitness goals. Because it offers comprehensive statistics on daily activities and it also has a silent alarm that will gently vibrate to wake you up in the morning without disturbing your partner or anyone else who is sleeping nearby.
Sleep Monitoring Feature – A Plus Point?
The sleep monitoring feature in the FitBit flex 2 has really been a revolutionary change for those who have been struggling with problems of quality and quantity of sleep because it acts as a wearable device that detects your movements and records your sleep duration and quality.
Other than that, it has helped people realize the things they were doing wrong, like drinking coffee before bedtime or not exercising enough during the day. This way, people can take steps to improve their sleeping habits and start sleeping better.

Is the App User-friendly?
Because of its straightforward layout and easy-to-navigate platform, the Fitbit application is one of our absolute favorites in the activity-tracking area.
The app appearance is the same regardless of the Fitbit tracker. However, functions vary based on what your device is able to track. At the bottom of the application, there are four tabs on all devices: Dashboard, Challenges, Friends, and Account (along with a “+” for fast access to monitoring an exercise or recording weight and food).
The Dashboard page provides a day-by-day breakdown, covering everything from the number of steps taken, as well as calories burnt to sleep length and active minutes. As it may not have enough space to fit other bracelets or large jewelry, which might keep you from wearing your favourite pieces. To avoid this problem, you should find one that’s big enough to fit your personal style without being too big for your wrist!

The Fitbit Flex 2 has a water-resistant design which means it can withstand sweat, rain, and occasional spills. But it is not designed to be used in the shower or to track your swimming laps. So yes, it is waterproof!

There’s no doubt that Fitbit Flex 2 is a good addition to the fitness tracker market and is highly recommended for those looking for a reliable and sleek device. It is a slim, small, and discrete device that doesn’t look bulky or out of place on one’s wrist.
But, it does not have an on-screen display which can be seen as either a positive or negative characteristic depending on how you look at it. On the one hand, the absence of a screen means that it will less likely run out of battery life as quickly as other models.
On the other hand, the lack of a screen means that there are no stats available to show real-time information about your activities. But there’s a plus point that it comes with interchangeable straps which allow you to change up your look and style every day.
However, the unavailability of the screen is not a big crash, but it still depends on your taste. As it gives a sleek and different look without a screen, it can be counted as merit instead.
It’s Battery Life – Definitely a Demerit!
FitBit Flex 2, without a doubt, is a better version of the FitBit Family. But its battery life could have been much better, considering its price range, because it has a battery life of only 3 to 4 days which is very low. It could have not been counted as a demerit, but it has one more flaw!
It doesn’t give any warning or vibration on low power or while turning itself off, which is very frustrating. Because you can miss and lose track of your fitness record, the steps you’ve taken, the calories you’ve burnt, and much more. So, it’s definitely a demerit!

I’ve been testing out the new FitBit Flex 2 Activity Tracker for the past few weeks. I’m a huge fan of the original FitBit, so naturally, I was excited to try out their newest model. The Flex 2 is not only smaller and more fashionable than its predecessor.
But it boasts all-day activity tracking in addition to its sleep tracking capabilities. The only issue I found is that FitBit flex 2 won’t sync and is not as accurate as some of its competitors out there. It tends to overestimate some of your steps and under-count others. But overall, it’s a good investment!
