It shows 15 Maps that you can explore with your friends, and since it’s one with the most-rating, it is very long too. Its primary campaign is timed in around 10 hours, while completion can lead to 100 hours. 

2. Battlefield 1942

The primary story lasts for 6.5 hours and isn’t very long. But with the outstanding multiplayer mode that it offers, players usually tend to spend more time playing the game

5. Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Battlefield: Bad Company is based in 1944, a few years before the first game title. The story circles Preston Marlowe, the protagonist from the first game, followed by Sergeant Redford, Haggard, and Sweetwater. The game allows people to use the Frostbite 1.5 engine to destroy huge buildings so gamers can explore the maps freely. 

With over 12 Million sales, ten months later, the Vetinam version came out as an expansion game. The main operation goes on for 7 hours, which means completion will take 8 hours.  

6. Battlefield 4

Battlefield 4 was released in 2013 and set during the war of 2020. You have to play Sergeant Daniel Recker, also known as Reck, who is a second in command of Tombstone Squad. The game is loved and appreciated because of its multiplayer mode and impressive graphics, although critics don’t like how it has short-paced gameplay. The DLC, on the other hand, played a role in enhancing the game with additional content. Initially, the game lasted for 6 hours, but with an average rate of completion, it goes to 7 hours. 

7. Battlefield: Vietnam

The Battlefield: Vietnam was released in 2010 and is set during the Vietnam War. The engine used in Battlefield Debut is the same one used in this. Battlefield Vietnam has the longest levels in the Battlefield series, with the story lasting for 14 hours. With the absence of achievements, you can use it to replay missions, and a single playtime will be decent enough. 

8. Battlefield: Bad Company

The Battlefield: Bad Company was released in 2008, promising a decent start with impressive groundbreaking graphics. The game centers around an army battle of fodders by the name Bad Company. It consists of George Gordon, Sergeant Samuel Redford, Preston Marlowe, and Terrance Sweetwater. Join forces with them to fight the First Russian and American War. The main story of the game is around 7.5  hours, but the average completion time is 56 hours, which is a lot. But along the way, you can gather a lot of rewards and trophies. 

9. Battlefield 1943

Battlefield 1943 includes maps from Battlefield 1942, so we can’t say if the game is original. However, the former edition wasn’t released on gaming consoles, so the 1943 makes up for that. You get 24 players per map, with three classes and three groupings. As a player, if you have achieved 43 Million kills, then you can easily unlock the Coral Sea map, which is the final one. 

10. Battlefield 5

Similar to Battlefield 1, which is based on the occurrences in World War 1, this game circles the World War 2. The game is decent but not as good as the predecessor. But in core play, the game is excellent, with good maps. The main story of the game usually lasts for 6 hours, but if you want to earn more rewards, then you’ll have to spend 25 hours in the campaign. 

10. Battlefield 2142

Another groundbreaking game that steps into the future, Battlefield 2142, is set in the 22nd century and allows a sneak peek into the Ice Age. The game shows the Pan Asian and the EU fighting over the Middle East and North Africa areas. 

This is the first game where the USA isn’t the advocate in the story, making it unique and exciting. It is a multiplayer game allowing 64 people to play on the same server. Since the game is multiplayer, it doesn’t have a completion time. On average, you’ll need 80 hours of playtime to complete and beat other players. 

11. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat deserves rightful popularity, but as per Bad Company, the game has now become obsolete. It’s not ideal for PC players, but console players can benefit ultimately. Courtesy of DICE, this single-player game roughly requires 7 hours to beat and complete. 

12. Battlefield: Hardline

Bringing a personalized experience to your screens with the Battlefield: Hardline. It’s not a critic’s favorite, as it has been listed among those with a weak plot that couldn’t really contribute much to the development of the characters. But the stealth mechanism, on the other hand, is top-tier and makes the game worth the investment. This was the last game that was created by the Visceral Games before the enterprise closed down in 2017. 

Players need to spend around 7.5 hours understanding and comprehending the main story, and completion lasts 22 hours. 

13. Battlefield Heroes

Battlefield Heroes ensures an ideal online gaming experience for PC users. Although it comes in limited personalization and modes, the game is decent, allowing the heroes a third-person perspective. The game is entry-level shooting primarily targeting young players and closed around July 14, 2005. It did not have a completion time and wasn’t a single-player game. 

14. Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 is a recent game that was released targeting the multiplayer market. However, some people may assume the lack of game score is because it is not a single-player, but that’s not the case. The game wasn’t a hit because of less content, and the launch timing wasn’t exactly favorable. Battlefield 2042 is futuristic, showing battles and Portal Modes. Critics believe the game needed more time in development, so it came out better at the time of release. 

So many players returned to previous games in the Battlefield series and stopped playing the 2042 edition.
