Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Reveals Meat Map Layout

Sledgehammer Games has revealed the design of the forthcoming Meat map, which will be featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s first season. The 6v6 core playlists that include Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed modes will incorporate the Meat map.

The multiplayer component of Modern Warfare 3 will be supported for a full year, much like Modern Warfare 2 was in 2022. Even if the campaign was a little monotonous, Sledgehammer Games’ openness to community input encouraged strong player participation, which helped Modern Warfare 3 become one of the most popular Call of Duty games. Players can expect an abundance of new content, including weapons, maps, perks, and more as Season 1 draws near on December 6, which will be preceded by many pre-season releases.

The Modern Warfare 3 map’s layout and a synopsis of the gameplay mechanics were just revealed on the official Call of Duty blog. Meat is a little map that seems like it belongs in an abattoir on the west coast of the US. It is similar to the well-known Rust and Shipment maps. The Tac Stance skill can be strategically used to gain an advantage in gunfights that are chaotic and unpredictable due to the slaughterhouse’s limited space. The middle section of the slaughterhouse is anticipated to be the focal center of most encounters, however, players looking for longer sightlines can stay around the outside loading dock and entrance regions.

On the Meat map in Modern Warfare 3, players are probably going to choose SMGs and assault rifles because there are a lot of tight passageways and corners. It is clear that assault rifles will remain a popular class of weaponry in Season 1, even in spite of recent community complaints for their nerfs. Sledgehammer Games’ continued effort on weapon balancing means that surprises could be included in the patch on December 6.

Meat and the recently released Greece map may be found in Modern Warfare 3’s 6v6 playlists as of December 6. Rio, the third 6v6 map, will be added later in the season. More 6v6 maps, including fan-favorite ones from Modern Warfare 2, will be added to Modern Warfare 3 in later seasons and updates.
