Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition

Xiaomi unveiled its new Redmi Note 12 series in October of last year. However, it seems like the company is not ready to move on and is still releasing different versions and expanding the lineup. It recently announced the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is an upper-mid-range phone. To make the release more exciting and attract customers, Xiaomi partnered with Warner Brothers and released a special Harry Potter edition of the phone.

The specs of this phone are pretty impressive as it is powered by the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which offers 50% better CPU performance than its predecessor. The GPU has also been improved, and the phone is much more efficient overall. The powerful Qualcomm chip will also help set this phone apart from other affordable Android phones. The Note 12 Turbo will be available in several different configurations, and you can get a device with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of storage.

The display is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with a variable 120 Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. On the back of the phone is a triple camera setup with one 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. To power the phone, Xiamoni put in a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, which is a significant downgrade from the 210W charging on the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition.

The phone comes with a headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster and is expected to run MIUI 14, its version of Android 13, right out of the box. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo looks identical to other devices in the lineup, such as the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. However, the main difference is between the camera island of the two devices. The Turbo model no longer has a camera island, and instead, each lens protrudes individually from the body.

Aside from the phone coming in three colorways, Xinghai Blue, Ice Feathr White, and Carbon Black, it will have an exciting Harry Potter edition. This variant will come with a special box filled with a collection of Harry-Potter-themed accessories, including a Hogwarts admission letter, a case, stickers, and even a phone manual styled like the Marauder’s map.
