2080 is a high-end priced GPU; however, it offers about 30% faster effective speed than the 1080 Ti. Even with the fantastic 30% faster speed, 2080 Super has failed to gain commercial popularity because gamers usually prefer the more affordable 1080 that offers reliable performance and above-average speed without costing you an arm and a leg.

Also, note that 2080 is an extension of the recent 2060 and 2070 versions, and it is ranked precisely where 2080 did.
