All the Hisuian Forms In Pokémon Legends - Arceus

All the Hisuian Forms In Pokémon Legends – Arceus

“Pokemon Legends: Arceus” permanently transformed the franchise in many ways but kept a few staples from previous games. This includes continuing the things that began in “Pokemon Sun” and “Moon” by featuring region-specific Pokemon variants. These variants include novel evolutions or various forms of familiar Pokemon.

The visual differences between regional variants are pretty pronounced, but the key distinction is that the Pokemon will usually have different kinds in various regions. While there aren’t many Pokemon in “Pokemon Legends: Arceus,” there are plenty of exciting Hisuian area variants.

These Pokemon are prominently featured in the game. Did you know that all of the Pokemon you could ride in the game are in the new Hisuian evolutions of recognizable Pokemon? These Pokemon can also be spotted as the Noble Pokemon of different Regions, where they fight as bosses. Each Hisuian variety of Pokemon in “Pokemon Legends: Arceus” is listed below.

There are some minor spoilers for “Pokemon Legends: Arceus” in this article.

The Noble Pokémon In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

All Hisuian Pokemon who have been “bestowed with a mysterious power” are Arceus’ Noble Pokémon. The wardens of the Hisui region who safeguard special Pokémon were introduced in a new trailer. While some Pokémon helped the people of the area, others called the nobles, were extremely powerful.

Noble Pokémon look to be the most unique Arceus Pokémon. The wardens respect them, keep them safe, and give them gifts. However, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, something has started to have a negative impact on even these powerful Pokémon.

New Hisuain evolutions

New Hisuain evolutions

“Pokemon Legends: Arceus” may be set in a feudal version of the Sinnoh area, but the starting three Pokemon of the game are not. Instead, you can choose between Oshawott, Cyndaquil, and Rowlett. This decision foreshadows a later surprise when it becomes clear that each of the Pokemon has a Hisuian evolution. Hisuian Shiny Decidueye is a Grass/Fighting Pokémon, Hisuain Samurott is a Water/Dark Pokémon, and Hisuian Typhlosion is a Fire/Ghost Pokémon.

“Pokemon Legends Arceus” does not even allude to new evolutions for the starters, and because they’re so uncommon to see in the wild, you’re unlikely to know ahead of time.

These new evolutions are fantastic, particularly for Typhlosian, who was previously only a Fire-type, providing them with a much-needed upgrade. On the surface, all three Pokemon appear to be very similar to their original forms, with only minor color changes. Typhlosion, for example, has purple markings on its body and in its flames, indicating that it also belongs to a Ghost-type.

Dialga and Palkia origin forms

Both legendary Pokemon of Sinnoh, Dialga, and Palkia are featured in “Pokemon Legends Arceus,” in addition to every other Pokemon found in the Sinnoh region, without stating where or how to find them. “Pokemon Legends Arceus” no longer considers the fresh versions of Dialga and Palkia to be purely Hisuain variants, alternatively referring to them as the Pokemon’s “origin.” Perhaps it’s because they’re legendary Pokemon, but these two have different forms in the Hisui area.

Both Dialga and Palkia can be switched between their regular and origin versions by using the Adamant Crystal for Dialga and the Lustrous Globe for Palkia.

The origin forms appear to have been blended with Arceus, resulting in strange, horse-like copies of themselves. Both origin forms appear to be quite intimidating, so you can definitely get something distinct out of these legendaries. The origin forms have slight stat tweaks as well.

Numerous other Hisuian Pokemon are ready to be found, ranging from variants of classics to entirely new evolutions. Many of these first appear as Alpha Pokemon with overpowered moves, so be cautious when finding new Pokemon. Some of the latest Pokemon evolutions also act as Noble Pokemon that you need to assist in defeating throughout the game. Given the game tasks you complete with the Pokedex by finishing a series of Research Tasks for every Pokemon, you are bound to encounter all of these new Pokemon at some point during your trip.

Hisuian Pokémon Locations

The majority of the new Hisuian Pokémon can only be found in the wild as unevolved forms. This means you’ll have to evolve many of them by hand, and some of their techniques are… peculiar. Fortunately, we have guidance for that as well! You can find the guide later in this article. So, here are all the locations you should bear in mind:

  • At the start of the game, Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott are accessible, with Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott as the Starter Pokémon. After that, you can locate them in space-time distortions or from Professor Laventon. Please keep in mind that all Hisuian forms appear only in their ultimate evolutions!
  • During the day, Growlithe can be found in the Cobalt Coastlands at the point of the Veilstone Cape. They’re incredibly aggressive, so avoid taking too much damage while attempting to capture one. Growlithe can still develop into Arcanine with the help of a Fire Stone.
  • Voltorb arises in the Sacred Plaza, east of the Summit Camp. You will find them rolling around. Once you’ve captured a Hisuian Voltorb, you can use a Leaf Stone to transform it into a Hisuian Electrode.
  • Qwilfish arises in the Obsidian Fieldlands near Ramanas Island. It can also be found in the Cobalt Coastlands’ Tranquility Cove. By using Strong Style Barb Barrage at least twenty times, you can develop it into Overqwil.
  • Sneasel can be found in Alabaster Icelands (Glacier Terrace) and the Coronet Highlands. (Primeval Grotto). When fed a Razor Claw during the day, it evolves into Sneasler.
  • Ursa’s Ring of the Crimson Mirelands features a normal Teddiursa. At Level 30, it transforms into Ursaring. Ursaring may go back to Ursaluna, but the process is complex.
  • During the day, normal Petilil can be found in the Cottonsedge Prarie of the Crimson Mirelands. Through the use of a Sun Stone, it transforms into Hisuian Lilligant, a Grass / Fighting-type Pokémon.
  • White-striped Basculin can be found all over the Cobalt Coastlands, including Tranquility Cove and the Islespy Shore. You can develop it into Basculegion by inflicting 300 HP in recoil damage on it.
  • Zorua is a difficult one. It can only be discovered in Icepeak Cavern outside of outbreaks. You must soar around Alabaster Icelands until you come across a hole. Entering it will take you underground, where you will discover a single Hisuian Zorua in a large room. At Level 30, it transforms into Hisuian Zoroark.
  • Standard Rufflet breed in the Alabaster Icelands near Lake Acuity. In reality, they frequently fly above the water! At Level 54, it develops into Hisuian Braviary.
  • Avalugg is the protagonist of Avalugg’s Legacy of the Alabaster Icelands. If you prefer, you can locate some Bergmite nearby and evolve one of them manually.
  • Goomy appears in the Holm of Trails of the Crimson Mirelands, but you must first acquire the Basculegion mount before proceeding. However, you can arrive early by positioning yourself correctly and leaping with Wyrdeer. Goomy develops into Hisuian Sliggoo at Level 40 and then into Hisuian Goodra while it’s raining at Level 50.
  • Stantler occurs in the Obsidian Fieldlands’ Deertrack Heights. It only develops into Wyrdeer after using Agile-style Psyshield Bash twenty times.
  • Scyther can be found all over the Heartwood, and when subjected to a Black Augurite, it evolves into Kleavor.

POKEMON LEGENDS ARCEUS: EVOLVING HISUIAN FORMS

POKEMON LEGENDS ARCEUS: EVOLVING HISUIAN FORMS

The launch of Pokemon Legends Arceus brought us sixteen new Pokemon forms dubbed Hisuian forms exclusive to Hisui, the region where the game takes place. These look a lot like the Galarian variations from Sword and Shield, which were published in late 2019.

Many of the novel Hisuian Pokemon forms in Pokemon Legends Arceus necessitate the use of unique evolution methods.

All new Pokemon in Legends Arceus Hisuian forms, like Galarian forms, are derived from previously found Pokemon, consequently evolving from the Pokemon, as mentioned earlier. Some of them have unique conditions for evolving in addition to leveling up, which can be overlooked if you don’t know where to look. We’ll now go over how to develop all of the Pokemon Hisuian forms in Pokemon Legends Arceus new forms in greater depth than we did earlier in this article.

This guide only includes Pokemon with special evolution requirements. Those who only need to advance to a particular level, irrespective of whether they have Hisuian forms or not, will not show here.

How to Evolve To Arcanine from Hisuian Growlithe

  • Type: Fire/Rock
  • Skills Available: Flash Fire, Intimidate, Justified (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Flare Blitz, Crunch, Rock Slide, Double-Edge

Growlithe, among the most recognizable Pokemon from Generation I, and its evolution Arcanine are likely to appeal to veteran Pokemon players. In Pokemon Legends Arceus, it takes on a Hisuian form, which players can locate in the Cobalt Coastlands area.

It is the same as evolving Hisuian Growlithe into Hisuian Arcanine. To develop it, just use a Fire Stone on it. It is also very simple to obtain a Fire Stone. They can be obtained from red ore mining nodes or purchased from Simona’s store for 1,000 Merit Points.

How to Evolve Into Ursaluna from Ursaring

  • Type: Normal/Ground
  • Skills Available: Bulletproof, Guts, Unnerve (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Headlong Rush, Play Rough, High Horsepower, Shadow Claw, Stone Edge, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch

The Teddiursa line receives another evolution in the terrifying Ursaluna for the first time in six generations. Ursaring evolves into a four-legged creature with spikes on its head and back. Fans of Generation II will appreciate that Ursaring is receiving some attention with a new evolution, and Ursaluna’s terrifying base attack of 140 is not something to gasp at either.

Meanwhile, its excellent primary defense and HP stats make it a tough tank capable of taking what it can dole out. To develop it, use a Peat Block on your Ursaring during a full moon night. Peat Blocks can be discovered in the Crimson Mirelands as a treasure that you can dig up while riding the Ursaluna mount.

How to Evolve into Sneasler from Hisuian Sneasel

How to Evolve into Sneasler from Hisuian Sneasel
  • Type: Fighting/Poison
  • Skills Available: Pressure, Poison Touch (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Close Combat, Drain Punch, Poison Jab, Shadow Claw, Swords Dance, X-Scissor

Sneasel, one more Generation II Pokemon, is one of the coolest (pun meant) Pokemon ever created. Its Hisuian version, on the other hand, isn’t anything like its Johto counterpart. Hisuian Sneasel, on the other hand, is a Fighting/Poison type Pokemon with a unique move set.

Despite their drastically different typing, Hisuian Sneasel and its evolution Sneasler perform essentially the same functions. Both are still quick physical opponents with devastating power. To evolve your Hisuian Sneasel into Sneasler, go to Simona’s store and buy a Razor Claw for 1,400 Merit Points, which you can use on your Sneasel.

How to Evolve into Wyrdeer from Stantler

  • Type: Normal/Psychic
  • Skills Available: Frisk, Intimidate, Sap Sipper (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Zen Headbutt, Psyshield Bash, Double-Edge, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Thunderbolt

Arceus in Pokemon Legends enjoys giving tribute to Generation II. This time, it’s with the Pokemon Stantler, a Normal/Psychic type, which receives its first evolution in Hisui. Because all Stantler in Hisui will develop into Wyrdeer, there is no such entity as a Hisuian Stantler in the traditional sense.

Wyrdeer has a solid base stat total as well as a mix of offensive stats that enable it to exploit both ends of the spectrum of attacks. Stantler has to execute the move Psyshield Bash in Agile Style 20 times to develop into Wyrdeer. You can evolve it using the Pokemon menu after meeting this requirement.

How to Evolve into Kleavor from Scyther

  • Type: Rock/Bug
  • Skills Available: Sheer Force, Swarm, Steadfast (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Stone Edge, X-Scissor, Stone Axe, Psycho Cut, Close Combat, Air Slash, Swords Dance

Scyther is no stranger to unusual evolution conditions, as its initial evolution Scizor mandates it to have a Metal Coat once traded to another player. Scyther can still be evolved into Scizor in Pokemon Legends Arceus in this manner, but you will no longer need to exchange Scyther. To achieve the intended results, simply apply the Metal Coat to Scyther.

But wait, there’s more. In this game, Scyther evolved into Kleavor, a Rock/Bug variant with massive hatchet heads where its forelegs should be. It appears to be fierce, and its primary attack stat 135 (five points higher than Scizor’s) attests to this. Use a Black Augurite on your Scyther to transform it into Kleavor. To acquire a Black Augurite, travel to the Crimson Mirelands’ Bolderoll Slope and beat the wild Graveler for as long as it takes for one of them to drop the item.

How to Evolve into Hisuian Lilligant from Petilil

  • Type: Grass/Fighting
  • Skills Available: Hustle, Chlorophyll, Leaf Guard (hidden ability)
  • Best moves: Drain Punch, Close Combat, Leaf Blade, Poison Jab, Recover, Victory Dance

Hisuian Lilligant is not the same as its cousin from Unova, where it first appeared. Hisuian Lilligant, rather than being a special attacker, is more physically oriented, with techniques like Leaf Blade, Close Combat, and Drain Punch to boot. It’s also 15 points quicker than its Unovan counterpart, making it appropriate for use as a quick physical sweeper when accompanied by the Victory Dance.

Expose your Petilil to a Sun Stone from Simona’s store for 1,000 Merit Points to evolve it into Hisuian Lilligant.

How to Evolve into Electrode from Hisuian Voltorb

  • Type: Grass/Electric
  • Skills Available: Static, Soundproof, Aftermath (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Thunderbolt, Chloroblast, Thunder Wave, Energy Ball

Voltorb is an iconic Pokemon and one of the most well-known from Generation I. In Pokemon Legends Arceus, it takes on a Hisuian form, replete with the wooden texture that the region’s Poke Balls are known for. Electrode’s evolution also gets a Hisuian form.

Simply expose your Voltorb to a Leaf Stone from Simona’s store for 1,000 Merit Points to evolve it into a Hisuian Electrode.

How to Evolve into Overqwil from Qwilfish

  • Type: Dark/Poison
  • Skills Available: Swift Swim, Poison Point, Intimidate (hidden ability)
  • Top moves: Poison Jab, Barb Barrage, Aqua Tail, Rest

Qwilfish, a Water/Poison type Pokemon, has not evolved since Generation II. That is, until Pokemon Legends Arceus. In this game, Qwilfish can grow into Overqwil, which alters its typing to Dark/Poison.

To do so, order your Qwilfish to use Barb Barrage in Strong Style 20 times, just like Ursaluna.

How to Evolve into Goodra from Hisuian Sliggoo

Sliggoo’s ultimate evolution, Goodra, replaced the pseudo-legendary Pokemon of Generation VI—this Dragon evolution line returns in Pokemon Legends Arceus, filled with Hisuian forms.

Its evolution technique is just like in Generation VI: at level 40, evolve Sliggoo into Goomy, and after that, turn Goomy into Shiny Goodra when it rains in the overworld at level 50. This means that rain from Drizzle or Rain Dance will not register; it must be from the overworld only.

Closing Words

That’s pretty much everything! As you can see, a few of the Hisuian forms (Alabaster Icelands) aren’t available until the conclusion of the game, which is a huge disappointment. If you have any more questions about Pokémon Legends: Arceus or where to locate specific Pokémon, don’t hesitate to get in touch with team Reviewsed.

Best wishes!
